P.S. There’s a lace wedding dress made from recycled fishnets.

Candlesticks, fishnets and nylon waste: these are just some of the repurposed materials used in the new 2018 H&M Conscious Exclusive womenswear collection.

In its seventh Conscious Exclusive collection, the label affirms its commitment to expanding the possibilities behind sustainable fashion, through its introduction of ECONYL® and recycled silver to the line – which joins the ranks of organic linen and recycled polyster used in its previous collections.

ECONYL® is a brilliant innovation that regenerates nylon waste into yarn, which in this collection, has been woven into the delicate fabric and dramatic embroidery in the collection’s ethereal white lace wedding dress, for one.

The collection draws inspiration from the creative homes of 19th and early 20th-century Swedish artists Karin and Carl Larsson. Fronting the campaign is iconic 90s supermodel Christy Turlington, now the founder of maternal health organisation Every Mother Counts, Aamito Lagum and Giedrė Dukauskaitė.

The collection drops in Singapore this April – browse the collection (prices included) in the gallery above!

The H&M Conscious Exclusive collection launches in Singapore in H&M Orchard Building and online at hm.com on 19 April 2018.
