From Jean Paul Gaultier to Fredrikson Stallard and Feverish, these designs are bound to throw your jewellery desires into overdrive.

When it comes to creating covetable and lust worthy jewellery with designer collaborations, Swarovski has never failed to make our hearts flutter to no end. After what have been over 60 tie ups, the Austrian brand is not about to stop its creative wheel from spinning.

This time, we have legendary designer, Jean Paul Gaultier, London-based avant-garde designers Fredrikson Stallard and Korean jewellery label Feverish taking the limelight.

Titled, ‘Reverse’, the glamourour twelve-piece collection is Gaultier’s first collaboration with Swarovski. The range explores the creative potential of crystal in a series of iridescent statement pieces that can be worn throughout the day.  In particular, the spotlight is on the designer’s multi-faceted new Kaputt crystal cut in a 24ct gold finish, as well as reversible forms that can show off the double-sided crystal’s shimmering colours. As usual, Gaultier’s designs encourage conversation and relishes in the joy of theatricality.

As for Fredrikson Stallard, this marks their second collaboration and it’s all the more stunning. Inspired by the power of femininity, the eleven-piece collection is on all counts conceptual and highly architectural. What’s most intriguing is the suspended crystal within a geometric metal structure. Quite aptly, the pieces do come across as armour, as how the collection is titled.

Finally, Korean jewellery brand, Feverish took to nature, specifically butterflies for their designs. The collection features beautifully delicate butterflies in various crystal hues, and what particularly caught our eye was how they looked as though they would be gently sitting on our skin when worn.

All in all, we know that we’ll never be disappointed with Swarovski and their sheer level of exquisiteness. The next time you’re looking for a statement piece that’s bound to strike up conversations, take a gander at Swarovski’s SS16 range.
