Sneak Peek: Uniqlo’s new maternity line is now available in Singapore

New moms and moms-to-be, here’s good news: Japanese retailer Uniqlo, known for its stylish and affordable basics, has officially launched its own maternity line! The line includes everyday essentials, such as briefs, leggings, and ultra-stretch jeans.

Non-restrictive and delicate on the skin

The common gripe among expectant mothers is that regular clothing tends to feel restrictive on their growing belly and irritating to their sensitive pregnancy skin. Recognising this, the clothing items in the new Uniqlo maternity line are non-restrictive, particularly around the midriff, while also feeling comfortable and delicate on the skin.

The maternity leggings, for one, are made with a reduced stitching so that they irritate the skin less, while the waist and leg openings are designed with soft powernet fabrics, instead of elastic bands which tend to be rougher.

The entire collection is affordably priced as well, with pieces ranging from SGD9.90 to SGD59.90. Uniqlo has also expanded its newborn and babies collection with new bib, bodysuit, one-piece designs and more.

The new maternity collection are available in selected Uniqlo Stores (including the UNIQLO Global Flagship Store at Orchard Central) and on the Uniqlo website. 

The new items for the newborns collection line will be available from October 2017 at UNIQLO Suntec City and on their website.
