The latest edition to Singapore’s shopping scene – Here’s what we like about this store dedicated to everything pleats!

Fabulous, functional and fun – These are the words that best describe Singapore’s new open-concept store, Pleatation. A store dedicated entirely to the beautiful world of pleats, the label offers a wide range of fashion, stationary, lifestyle and house & home products.

Head designer Chiang Xiaojun follows a 3-step process behind her products: deconstruction, reconstruction and rebirth. Xiaojun breaks down your average product, recreates them with unique textures and manipulated fabrics to give the product a complete makeover.

The apparel includes a range of basics, tops, bottoms, scarves, shawls, and not to forget their signature maxis that are to die for. However, if you’re not in the mood for a bit of clothes shopping then don’t worry, because Pleatation also has a wide range of stationary products – such as their signature-pleated notebook – home products such as table runners, cushion covers and coasters that are simply irresistible. The luscious lifestyle products include trendy clutches, totes, name card holders, laptop cases and even ring pillows for those brides and grooms to be!

The boutique is designed to look like a home, with a roof-like structure and silver door frames leading to the next room. Each room housing the different categories of products offered by Pleatation.

Of course, we have our favourite products too:
