Get yourself used to the unique chic of the Parisians, with the collection by Inès de la Fressange for Uniqlo – available from March 28.

Who better to represent the casual elegance that seems so natural and innate to the Parisians than one herself? Who else could possibly inspire this unique chic that fashionistas all over the world would envy? Inès de la Fressange, of course.

Her resume speaks for itself – model, designer, author, designed for the greatest, muse to Chanel from 1983 to 1990, inspiration for the bust of Marianne in 1989… Ambassador for Roger Vivier since 2002, Ines is a staple to fashion and French chic. And in 2013, 14 years after leaving art direction, she relaunches her namesake brand.

This spring, we will see her first collaboration with the Japanese brand Uniqlo, a line that looks like her, she wanted to be “sincere” in “unconventional luxury”.  Through this spring-summer 2014 collection, we find her personal touch, the classic Parisian. Small casual jackets, black draped dresses, light blouses, homewear pieces perfect for yoga… in all four themes, 70 items, each piece available in 3 to 4 colours.

Invested in each of the fittings of the collection, Inès de la Fressange confides, “I think it’s the same about clothes and about fashion. Being able to buy something that is good quality and has style, without being extravagant. The enjoyment such an item can bring is also important.”

Get a little of this “Ines attitude” for yourself, available in a selection of Uniqlo stores from March 28 in stores worldwide.
