Trussardi: Resort 2014 collection

Italian casual chic takes you from work to play.
While the world casts its gaze on the latest Autumn/Winter collections hitting the stores – we at Marie France Asia have found our eye being caught by the resort collections which are more suited for this regions all-year round tropical weather.
The latest collection to catch our eyes is Trussardi’s. For its Resort 2014 collection, the Italian label did not disappoint with its minimal casual chic pieces which play on shapes and cuts.
Pairing varying shades of blue – which at a glance might look like denim – with white and beige, the pieces looked light and breezy. From bell bottom and loose cropped trousers to comfy midi skirts, lightweight shirts, tops and jackets – the collection has some great separates which can be mixed and matched for a modern and effortlessly-chic look.
We even love the odd leather pieces (a black maxi skirt and a gorgeous short sleeved blue top with snake print inset) which balance the whole resort-y feel and add a little edge to the collection without losing its elegance factor. Perfect for taking us from work to play, all year round!
