Twingo Stiletto: The dedicated high-heeled shoe for driving
Driving in a pair of killer stilettos may not be the best of decisions, which is why the French automaker, Renault, has come with just the perfect solution.
Killer stiletto heels are objects of desire for many women. They are fabulous and make us look fabulous. But, as shoe-crazy as we are, driving with our beloved stilettos is not the best of experiences – it is neither safe nor comfortable.
Thankfully, we have Renault, who wants us to drive in elegance and comfort. For the launch of the Twingo heel, the French automaker teamed up with the advertising agency, Publicis Lisboa, and a famous shoe designer, Luís Onofre, to create an attractive high-heeled shoe, dedicated to driving.
To customize the Twingo Stiletto for driving, Onofre improved the shoe’s traction by using perforated leather commonly found on steering wheels and integrated a rubber piece within the sole. The main ingenuity of this creation is probably the Stiletto Cap – a detachable accessory that not only wraps around the heel to enlarge its base for more stability and support, but also protects the shoe counter, which is often damaged during driving.
The Twingo Stiletto is fashionable, useful and comfortable. Bravo Renault! Now there’s no need to switch between shoes when driving.
