If you ever need to avoid unwanted photographs of yourself in public then this innovative collection will be your best secret weapon.

Many celebrities would love to own Harry Potter’s famous invisibility cape – it could be a good way to shake off the dreadful paparazzi.

While most of us would wait for this magical option, Chris Holmes took a break from DJ-ing for Paul McCartney to offer a more realistic alternative to those who don’t want their photo captured and distributed. Recently, the artist launched an unphotographable clothing collection, dubbed the “Flashback Collection”.

It all began when Holmes noticed that each time he wore reflective clothing for a show, his photos were ruined because the flash bounced off his outfit and blurred the rest of the picture. An ingenious discovery to fight against photo privacy invasions, he thought. Thus, he decided to launch a line of light-reflecting clothing in order to render unusable all undesirable photos.

How does it work?

The entire collection is made using reflective threads, including hoodies, infinity scarves and blazers. As soon as light from the camera flashes, the clothes shine brightly as the threads reflect the flash. Consequently, the photo is blurred and completely worthless.

Such a fantastic idea! And a good way for celebrities to prevent undesirable paparazzi shots making the rounds online.
