The thing about statement footwear is it makes dressing up easy breezy. You can put on a simple get-up and still walk away looking sophisticated.
We were inspired by this clean look from French luxury brand, Chloé's Ready-To-Wear Spring 2015 catwalk, featuring a suede safari and nothing else but a knee-high strappy gladiator. The ensemble is cool, collected, neutral and easy to pull off — the same concept in our (mainly) high-street rendition of the look.
Pairing a delicately embroidered white T-shirt together with white denim shorts and a tailored beige blazer, you get a nondescript, everyday look. Add a pair of knee-high gladiators by Jeffrey Campbell and fringe cross-body bag from ZARA, you get an outfit that mirrors Chloé's fashionably smart look.
