Polka dots can seem a little childish and passé, but when given the chance, they can truly turn an outfit into a pleasant statement. We think every girl should have a few fun and dotty pieces in their wardrobe, be it a maxi dress, skirt, blouse or pair of trousers.
There are ways to make polka dots look chic, for example wearing minimalistic jewellery pieces to offset the showiness of the spotty print, or pairing the polka dot piece with something simple and neutral-coloured. Play around with the print – it can take a few attempts to get the style just right. Start off with a skirt or a top. Then, when you feel bold enough, go all out and don a dress or a pair of full-length trousers to flaunt those dots big time!
