Get the Look: Armani Privé's casual couture

Turn the runway to real-way with our take on one of Fall Couture 2016’s most talked about ensembles.

Armani Privé’s homage to surrealism-influenced fashion designer Elsa Schiaparelli was fitting in our recent spotlight on androgyny. Armani sent down models in pitch-black pixie haircuts, donning suits and ball gowns in the opulent satins and subtle futuristic prints he uses in every couture show.

This week, we were inspired by one of the label’s casual couture looks: part serious with all black, but unmistakably feminine with the hint of fuschia – just the way we like our power suits.

Start with a monochrome base of structured black blazer and loose, wide leg trousers that add length and movement to the look. A black clutch-slash-crossbody bag is the perfect companion to the functional outfit. Hot pink accents are injected in ways of comfy pointed flats and a bold, standout lip colour – to prove you can get down to business, but also get a little frisky on the weekends.

Own this look for a casual night on the town or a dress-down work day!
