Get the Look: Emilio Pucci's 70s girl

The seventies madness made its comeback on the podium of the Italian house. Get that groove back into your style with some of our tips.

The Spring/ Summer 2015 fashion show by Emilio Pucci was under great 70s influence. It blew fringe, lace and pretty long legs, so it’s clear that creative director Peter Dundas (now replaced in the next season by Massimo Giorgetti), did not hesitate to revisit all codes of that time in gold.

Imagine icons like Jane Birkin, Joni Mitchell or Bianca Jagger hanging over his sketches. At your turn, you compose an inspired wardrobe for grown-up festival chic. Start with a triangle bralet under a vintage-inspired vest. Inject that hippie charm with a pair of figure-flattering wide leg trousers in a pale blush hue. Keep the shoes minimal (while giving you that extra height boost) with black heeled sandals and accessorise further with your neck scarf of choice and a rustic-looking fringe crossbody pouch.

Whoever knew the 70s could look this chic?
