With that big yellow ball in the sky following us around pretty much all year round, it’s safe to say that the most essential accessory any woman – or man – should have is a great pair of sunglasses.
Apart from protecting our eyes from high UV rays, and saving us from the dreaded sun squint (and those accompanying frown lines!) – shades make the perfect style statement regardless of the occasion.
This year, we’ve been very excited about sunglasses trends because for once they seem to be showing some individuality. From round to rectangular, mirrored to clear lenses and avant-garde to retro D-shaped and aviators, understated to over-embellished; every shape and style has made an appearance on the runway.
While it might be a bewildering array, it’s actually good news for us because choosing sunglasses that fit one’s face should always be way more important than blindly following a trend.
