Enough of the ‘less is more’ adage. It’s time to go all out with your jewellery, and by all out we mean piling one accessory on top of many others!
It’s not just clothes we can layer; jewellery can join the pack too. In fact, stacking jewellery is no doubt one of the hottest trends right now.
Designers like Versace and Moschino are known to be extravagant when it comes to the details, so it’s rather natural to see some merry stackable jewellery in their runways. Versace adorned their models’ dainty fingers with exquisite stackable rings, while Moschino anchored their looks by layering some sizeable chain necklaces.
Marni, on the flip side, showed that stackable jewellery doesn’t have to be florid. Their sleek, chunky bangles, in muted colours like black, white and beige, prove to be statement pieces in spite of their simplicity.
