Delicate innerwear has gotten a permanent place in the fashion world as casual wear for a while. At Gucci's Fall 2015 presentation, designer Alessandro Michele didn't hesitate to model this by letting a catwalker don a sheer camisole with a pleated midi skirt. Undeniably impressed, we've recreated the runway look for you this week.
For a look more suited for the local conservatives, go for an opaque silk slip instead of the runway's sheer applique piece. Even one of your lacy nighties could work, since the length will be hidden under a high-waisted midi skirt. We opted for this mushroom-hued wool piece, which gives a nice matte contrast against the satin sheen on top.
Accessorise effortlessly with a single necklace and geek chic tortoiseshell frames. Don't forget the beret to channel your inner Parisienne, as you finish everything off with this season's statement lace-up flats.
