It’s now trending to make a fashion statement with your totes, clutches and accessories — literally.

Remember Chanel’s recent fabulous feminine protest, where Cara Delevingne led a hoard of models while yelling “What do we want? When do we want it?” on Chanel megaphones? The same Spring/ Summer 2015 runway reflected the 1970s’ spirit of freedom with clutches bearing witty slogans like “Féministe mais Féminine” and “Make Fashion Not War”.

Being the trendsetter that Karl Lagerfeld is, we’re now seeing more and more accessories stamped with tongue-in-cheek words in the signature 70s’ bright and colourful vibe. Sophia Webster and Kate Spade continue with their typical playful design, with bubble speech-shaped clutches bearing snappy messages, and tote bags with clever puns.

Flip through our gallery for some hot finds tapping onto the slogan trend from the runway, and see if you’re up for making a statement with your accessories!
