The Nomad Series by The Ottomani
When: Now till early 2019

In their new The Nomad Series, this ultra-cool Middle Eastern supper club will be inviting internationally renowned chefs to develop distinctive menus every month. A few notable names to look out for include Chef Alejandro Saravia, widely-regarded as the man responsible for bringing Peruvian cuisine to Australia's shores, and acclaimed Brazilian chef Ivan Brehm, among others. Expect a marriage of the restaurant's signature Middle Eastern flair and each guest chef's distinctive style. First in line is pastry extraordinaire and James Beard nominated author Jason Licker, who will work alongside The Ottomani's Head Chef Beau Churchill to introduce 3 Middle Eastern inspired desserts for their 6-course menu.

UOB Gourmet Stories
When: Now till June 2019

Previously called the Savour Food Festival, the gourmet and wine fiesta has now evolved to UOB Gourmet Stories - a delightfully immersive dining experience where chefs at some of the best restaurants in the city (like Zafferano, BAM!, Tamarind Hill, Wooloomooloo Steakhouse, Horse's Mouth and more) whip special 4-course lunch and dinner menus under an overarching story or theme each month. At Wooloomooloo Steakhouse for one, Chef Dinesh will debut a surprisingly nostalgic menu where he elevates some of his favourite comfort dishes as a child in Kuala Lumpur on a fine-dining plate: like a Pan Seared Barramundi with Cauliflower Rice (inspired by the classic Indian dish of white rice, dhal and fried fish). There will be 6 different featured restaurants each month (totalling up to 48 restos) to keep things fresh and exciting on your palates. And that's not the best bit: diners with a UOB Card will get to enjoy these exclusive at promotional prices! Singapore Restaurant Festival
When: Now till 30 September 2018

Missed this year's Singapore Restaurant Week? Well, fret not because Singapore Restaurant Festival is back in town! Be it an emergency ice-cream run at Udders, or a fancy date night at Chef’s Table by Stephan Zoisl, there’s definitely a restaurant for your picking. Be sure to participate in the lucky draws happening all-festival-round and win irresistible prizes and dining vouchers as you dine in any of their participating restaurants! The festival kicks off this July with a ‘Japanese and Heritage’ cuisine theme, followed by ‘Western and Korean’ in August, and concluding with delicious ‘Chinese and Asian’ bites in September. SPROUT, A Farm-to-People Festival
When: 7 to 8 July 2018

Suntec Singapore will debut its first farm-to-people festival this July! Touted as Singapore's largest ever farmers' market, SPROUT aims to shed a light on sustainable agriculture, urban farming, and the consumption of healthy food with over 50 diverse exhibitors. The event will host a great lineup of activities such as Sprout & BUY, Sprout & EAT, Sprout & COOK, Sprout & GROW, Sprout & PLAY and Sprout & LEARN, perfect for those who love to cook or simply want to kick-start their journey to preparing healthy meals at home. Be prepared to pick up some mouth-watering recipes through live cooking demos by esteemed Singaporean chef Violet Oon and many more!

Ce La Vi x Chef Ton: Guest chef collaboration
When: 13 to 14 July 2018

Chef Ton of Bangkok's Le Du restaurant (ranked #14 on Asia's 50 Best Restaurant list this year) will be collaborating with CÉ LA VI’s Executive Chef Joey Sergentakis to present an immersive dining experience that innovatively marries Modern Asian and Modern Thai cuisine. The first day of the series will feature a sumptuous 5-course lunch menu that includes mouthwatering dishes like a Durian panna cotta & smoked coconut by Chef Ton and Lo Soi Poached Foie Gras by Chef Joey - a perfect illustration of the melding of robust Asian flavours and modern gastronomy techniques. This will be followed by a 7-course dinner menu which includes a refreshing Scallop & Oyster Ceviche and Venison, while enjoying wines hand-picked by none other than Mathias Camilleri, Singapore's only Master Sommelier.

Singapore Food Festival 2018
When: 13 to 29 July 2018

Singapore Food Festival, arguably one of the biggest food events of the summer, is back again for its 25th year - only bigger and yummier than ever! Like its previous editions, the festival will feature a series of events, which include pop-up food concepts and workshops with top local and Michelin-star chefs, happening over a span of two weeks. A few noteworthy festival highlights include STREAT, which offers locally-inspired dishes with a modern twist; Park Bench Deli collaborations which will marry East and West dishes (check out their Rendang Burger and Roast Char Siew Banh Mi!), and the highly-anticipated McDonald’s Love Local campaign, which will feature a new menu inspired by traditional Singaporean flavors. There's also a designated Curry Day for your indulgent curry fix, and workshops that teach you how to whip up heritage desserts like a Kueh Lapis and more.

Sentosa Grill Fest

As part of this year’s Sentosa Grill Fest, Siloso Beach will transform itself into a kilometre-long beachside street food fiesta featuring Sentosa's dining establishments and Singapore's very own 2nd generation Hawkers! Tuck into both local and international dishes that run the gamut from Jumbo Hokkien Noodles and Traditional Naan Platter to old-school calamansi drinks with sour plum, and more! The 50 Cents Fest
When: 28 to 29 July 2018

For a nostalgic return to Singapore's colonial era, head down to The 50 Cents Fest happening this July at Chinatown Food Street! As part of the Singapore Food Festival, the entire street will transform into a nostalgic “pasar” or street hawker scene. Immerse yourself in Singapore's colonial past with its selection of over 30 iconic old-school dishes served up by 20 stalls and mobile hawkers. Here's a little teaser into some of the dishes you can expect: there's the Kerabu Bee Hoon, Fish Molee (a fish curry stew), and Kopi Gu You (black coffee with butter). As you take a little “digestive” walk around the street sipping on your cup of kopi, take in the old-school performances that include street buskers, letter writers, calligraphers and fortune-tellers, as well as black-and-white outdoor movie screenings and martial art performances! The best bit? All you need is just 50 cents to enjoy it all!

Beerfest Asia 2018

Keep calm and swig down a pint or two, as Beerfest Asia is back this year again for its annual sloshfest! World Food Fair 2018
