The Great Food Festival 2017: Dine with Michelin chefs, try Instagram-worthy desserts and more

If yes, you need to be at The Great Food Festival, happening this week at Resorts World Sentosa from 21 to 24 September. This inaugural festival is arguably Singapore’s most ambitious and extensive food festival to date, featuring 30 international culinary stars who, in total, will be plating a combined 100 signature dishes and 300 delectable pastries.

Depending on what tickles your (food-lovin’) fancy, the festival is separated into 5 separate segments: namely,  Star Chef Arena, Heritage Lane, Rollin’ Sweet Times, Feast of Kings, and Connoisseur Collection, Tuck into a mouthwatering smorgasbord of signature dishes from the world’s best celebrity chefs and Michelin-starred restaurants, starting at just SGD10 (Star Chef Arena) or seize the rare opportunity to hobnob with them during the one-on-one dining experience with the Michelin-starred chefs (Feast of Kings). Now, for our favourite bit: the Rollin’ Sweet Times. If you’re into your desserts, you’ll definitely not want to miss this. As Asia’s largest consumer dessert and pastry showcase featuring over 300 visually arresting and equally delicious creations, we were definitely spoilt for choice and felt very much like a kid in a (cavernous) candy store.

Lastly, expand your culinary palate and try 50 heritage-inspired dishes from around the world (Heritage Lane).Variety is the spice of life in our books, especially when it comes to our food, so we were particularly excited for this segment.
