Hello Kitty Orchid Garden set to launch adorable Hello Kitty mooncakes
As if we needed any more reason to eat delectable mooncakes this coming Mid-Autumn Festival!
This year’s Mid-Autumn Festival might still be awhile away, but that doesn’t mean we can’t get hyped about an early bird announcement that Hello Kitty Orchid Garden will be launching its back-by-popular-demand traditional baked mooncakes embossed with the adorable face of Hello Kitty. Yes, you read right!
For those not already in the know, Hello Kitty Orchid Garden is the fancy little 24-hour themed cafe located in Terminal 3 of Singapore Changi Airport. This year’s mooncakes will see the iconic feline featuring prominently on each mouthwatering treat. Available from 17 August to 4 October 2017, you’d better put these important dates down if you know anyone who’s an ultimate fan of the charming kitty!
The mooncakes come in sets of 2, elegantly presented in a white-and-gold oriental floral tin box with a packaging sleeve that sports Hello Kitty and Tiny Green. The delightful treats will feature the classic hit combination of creamy white lotus paste, melon seeds, and a single yolk, all baked within the much-loved traditional pastry skin.
The mooncakes will be available from 17 August to 4 October and are only available for walk-in orders and while stocks last. Each box will retail at SGD33.80, with an early bird price of SGD29.80 per set when purchased before 14 September.
