The new Singaporean gourmet tea company showcases local neighbourhoods through its 7 unique tea blends.

Singapore may not have as big a tea-drinking culture as England, China or India but this doesn’t mean that the local tea scene is lackadaisical or in any bit struggling.

Local brands like TWG and Lipton have established themselves and thrived in the country’s tea scene, proving that although coffee may be the number one hot beverage of choice, Singaporeans are not at all averse to giving tea a chance.

Which is probably why a brand new tea brand has emerged on the scene to give tea-drinkers yet more variety to choose from. Pin Tea, a gourmet tea company founded by a group of avid tea-drinking Singaporeans brings traditional tea from organic tea farmers across Asia to the local public.

Free from pesticides and artificial flavourings, their teas are made of premium full-leaf teas, real herbs and flowers that deliver flavour and quality without the need for sugar or honey.

For their debut collection, the company came up with 7 unique blends inspired by the various iconic neighbourhoods around Singapore. Take a look at the gallery to see if your neighbourhood was cool enough to make it to the debut collection.

After that get ready to put the kettle on!

Pin Tea’s unique blends are going for SGD18 for 12 teabags and SGD25 for 18 teabags and are available for sale at pintea.sg.
