Lola’s Cafe
This sweet neighbourhood café is known for their honey paprika crispy wings which fits in the palm of your hand – but you can fit many more on your plate at the tidy price of SGD10. Other brunch favourites are the bangers and mash, avocado eggs benedict and Lola’s Full Monty Breakfast, all served free of GST or service tax!

One Man Coffee
If you’re the type of person who needs their espresso even on a weekend, you’re going to want to head to One Man Coffee, where the folks behind the counter consider themselves experts in the art of coffee. If you want a side of breakfast with your cup of joe, they’ve got creations like the Big Brekkie (eggs and baby spinach with pesto) and classic French toast to go with your order.

If you let the unglamorous name and shoddy exterior fool you, then you’re missing out on a decidedly hip coffee bar that also houses a roaster, a coffee school and a private coffee tasting room. Here is where you’ll find the goods – salami sandwiches, French toast with strawberries and bananas, ham omelettes, cheesecakes and of course, coffee.
