Zafferano
Zafferano has a pretty massive Christmas Day Brunch menu that will leave you bursting at the seams, offering the likes of antipasti, pastas, pizzas, hearty meats from the Carving Station, and sweet treats from the Christmas Dessert Bar. Start your Christmas Day off right with some Live Seasonal Oysters, followed by the House-Made Veal Ravioli with Porcini Mushroom Sauce (or if you’re feeling carnivorous, the Oven-Baked U.S. Turkey with Berry Sauce), and perhaps end your sumptuous brunch with some Traditional Panettone.

The Black Swan
Elegant bistro The Black Swan kicks off Christmas early with a their own rendition of classic festive dishes on offer during weekday lunch hours from 28 November to 30 December. With the 2-course special, one can chow down on their belly-busting Ranger Valley Black Onyx Angus Stripling and some sinful Cherry Clafoutis. If that’s not comfort food, we don’t know what is.

Artemis
Artemis has always been an ideal go-to luncheon spot in the CBD as they offer a 2-course and 3-course lunch set. Depending on whether or not you’re feeling hungry enough to tackle a bigger meal, there’s always room for more with their a la carte options. Start with their fresh vegan and gluten-free Endive, Radicchio and Date Salad, before going all-out and devouring the Organic Corn-Fed Spring Chicken, then finish off with a delightful Basil & Yogurt Gateaux (or a platter of assorted cheeses if you’re more of a savoury person).

Cheek By Jowl
Conveniently located along Boon Tat Street downtown, this Modern Australian restaurant is all sorts of chic, offering memorable 2-course, 3-course, and 5-course lunches that have time and again been praised by foodies island-wide. While they don’t offer festive specials, their main dishes still remain some of the most sumptuous in the area. With the likes of Roasted Quail that offer hints of chestnut, mushroom, and mint, and Barramundi cooked in bonito butter, Cheek By Jowl makes celebrating the year-end season easy.

Rhubarb Le Restaurant
For a more intimate lunch session, the charming Rhubarb Le Restaurant at Duxton Hill offers an elegant venue that seats small groups (it has a dining capacity of up to 30). The 3-course lunch menu is simple and chic, with gorgeous options such as Heirloom Tomatoes with ricotta, burnt pomelo and yuzu pearls, Canadian Pork Tenderloin and Cotechino with barley and pine mushrooms, and Caramalised Pineapple with coconut pulp, nata de coco and fromage blanc sorbet for dessert.

The Christmas Menu at Oxwell & Co is brimming with festive-themed foods, including options like Crispy Corn & Nutmeg, Roasted Organic Turkey with Chestnut Stuffing & Cranberry, and Sticky Toffee Pudding with Rum & Raisin Ice Cream. They also have a Vegetarian Menu prepared, just in case you prefer to go meat-free this merry season.
