d’Good Cafe
For those more familiar to acidic cold brews, the Coconut Infused Cold Brew (SGD9.50) will make for a nice change.
The barista starts by filling two glasses with dry ice, which will engulf your senses with the rich aroma of roasted coconut. Initially, the coconut taste is not distinct, but eventually hits you with an intense savouriness, subtle fruitiness and a sweet aftertaste.

Joe & The Juice
Joe & The Juice, known for their power shakes and juices, loud music, and charming baristas, definitely do serve good organic coffee.
The warm Ginger Latte (SGD7) is a creamy, milky latte with the spicy kick of ginger that actually makes for a nice wake-up boost on more groggy mornings.

The Coffee Academics
Those who are adventurous with their coffee blends might want to try the Pepper Agave Latte (SGD7.50) at The Coffee Academics.

Definitely an acquired taste, the coffee is sweetened with raw agave nectar (a natural sweetener) and then topped with freshly-grounded black pepper, resulting in a truly flavourful mouthful.

The Tokyo Iced Apple Machiato (pictured left) is also a unique fruity and refreshing coffee experience worth trying.

The Sarnies Bulletproof Coffee (SGD6) is a take on the kopi gu you (butter coffee), a popular local kopitiam practice of adding a dollop of luscious butter to black coffee.

Sarnies' coffee differs slightly from the traditional butter coffee, with its addition of coconut oil. Bulletproof coffee is actually catching on in the west, with many health nuts touting its numerous health benefits, like its ability to curb hunger pangs and act as a meal replacement drink. The cold brews at Dapper Coffee are pretty to look at, if anything. The Gold Brew (SGD10), for one, is a magical-looking concoction filled with edible iridiscent gold dust and is a hot menu item in the cafe.

Another favourite is the non-caffeinated Unicorn Tears (SGD10), a lemonade blend that is intense in flavour and refreshing.
