News of their opening in Singapore sent Dazzling fans and foodies into a frenzy on social media. Their never-ending queues prove that Singaporeans can’t seem to get enough of their ridiculously photogenic Shibuya Toasts and a scroll through your Instafeed will concur this. Eschew the typical flavours like hazelnut chocolate honey and opt for the mango and coconut gelato honey toast which is a flavour exclusive to the Singaporean outlet.

Nam’s Brewing Thai Tea & Coffee
Those patiently waiting for Bangkok’s After You to open an outlet here will find the shibuya toast at Nam’s Brewing Thai Tea & Coffee to be up to scratch with the Bangkok original. Available only during non-peak hours, the no-frills Special Thick Toast served here comes with two scoops of ice cream: Thai milk tea and coconut which is more than all the flavour you need to accompany the crispy, evenly buttered, honey-drizzled toast.

Stateland Cafe
The bread and ice-cream at Stateland Café is made in-house and if that isn’t impressive enough, they also toast it twice to get that addictive crispy texture so beloved of the dessert. Standouts here include the Charcoal Toast which is dripping with liquid marshmallows, salted caramel and topped with coconut ice cream. Those looking for a savoury twist will do well to go with the salted egg yolk version.

Loaves Me’s eye-catching Shibuya Toast offers the most value-for-money honey toast in town without scrimping on the essentials. That’s how Assembly Coffee does their toast, buttered, sugared and topped with ice cream, strawberries and almonds.
