‘Coeur de Boeuf’ recipe
updated the 17 August 2015 à 11:24CHEF IN HEELS Simbian Chua shares her original ‘beef hearts’ recipe, which can be complemented with spaghetti or eaten in a bun as a burger.
Serves 2 | Takes 20 minutes
Ingredients:
600g Minced Beef
1 Apple, skinned
Salt & Pepper
Parsley, chopped
1 Garlic, chopped
4 Tbsp olive oil
Method:
- Mince the skinned apple and put into a large mixing ball.
- Now, combine the minced beef with the garlic and apple.
- Mix well and sprinkle some salt and pepper to taste.
- Mould it into 4 medium sized hearts and pop it into the freezer for 3 minutes.
- Drizzle olive oil and place hearts onto the pan, fry on low heat.
- When all sides are brown, pop it into the preheated oven of 180C for 10 minutes.
- Garnish with some chopped parsley.
