There are more ways to feast on salmon than to have it sliced raw for sashimi or wrapped in a sushi roll. These are 5 recipes to spice up your salmon dish.

Salmon is one of those foods that are good for the tastebuds and the body alike. The popular fish contains a multitude of nutrition, including easily digestible proteins (amino acids), cholesterol-battling Omega-3, and an array of  vitamins D, A and B. It’s also rich in minerals such as iron and calcium. Girls especially would want to know that salmon contains Selenium, a mineral crucial to the metabolism of tissues, hair and nails.

But with a vast list of health benefits, we are guilty of eating our favourite fish in the same old ways. Either we have it wrapped in a sushi roll, paired with avocado, fish eggs and perhaps some soy sauce; or sliced raw for our obligatory dose of sashimi. While the following dishes and undeniably delicious, we’d like to present you with 5 more unique recipes to prepare your salmon, courtesy of our sister F&B website Gourmand Asia.

Now put down your chopsticks and get that apron of yours instead!
