She can play the damsel in distress and the kick ass heroine at the same time. Angelina Jolie refuses to play by Hollywood's stereotype. Having 6 kids did not stop her from continuing her career or her humanitarian work. She's also one of the few people who has tattoos and still looks elegant at the same time!

It takes a lot of guts to undergo a double mastectomy and even more so to share such details with the rest of the world. Her decision to go public has made her an inspiration for many women suffering from breast cancer.

Those famous pouty lips
Angelina Jolie had luscious pouty lips way before Kylie Jenner made it a trend. The difference -Jolie's lips are actually natural and not the result of too many filler injections!

From Tomb Raider to Changeling, Angelina Jolie has time and again proven that she's in the industry because of her skills and not her father's connections. It's this theatrical talent that has seen her sweep up many awards in the film industry, most notably her Oscar for Girl Interrupted.

Unlike other fame hungry celebs, Jolie has managed to use her celebrity status for good. Her philanthropic work has seen her donate more than 5 million USD to the UNHCR as well as set up a the Maddox Jolie-Pitt Foundation dedicated to conservation, education and healthcare in Cambodia. She was also made Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) since April 2012 and has since gone on to give speeches at the UN to bring awareness to the plight of refugees around the world.
