Why we love it:
With sports luxe being all the rage in the fashion world, even during couture week – yes Karl, all eyes on you – it was only a matter of time that a high street label adopted this trend to toast the wonderful marriage of fashion and sports. As such, the capsule collection from the collaboration of Topshop and Adidas Originals is born, and we simply can’t wait to snap up all 20 pieces of the collection – no prizes for guessing who will be camping in front of Topshop in the wee hours of the morning on the 20th of March.
The capsule collection features the reinvention of Adidas archives as their classic trefoil hoodies, vests, jumpsuits and signature shoe styles have been Topshop-ed, and are now splashed with boisterous prints inspired by the London landscape.
No doubt picking our favourite from the collection was a tough decision – a gross understatement, really – it was the high-tops that did it for us. Sporty with a touch of glamour from the prints, these shoes perfectly depict how an element of fun and fashion can bring sports to a whole new dimension. Gone are the days when sports simply meant sweating it out in boring old trainers!
