Hotels have always focused on beautifying their interior, but it’s time we appreciate how they look on the outside as well.

We tend to check out how the rooms and facilities look like when we’re booking a hotel, because obviously those factors are going to be the most important ones for us to consider. Recently, there has been much news about themed boutique hotels, or just very pretty places to stay in here in this small city. However, we think it’s time to appreciate what the architects of the buildings have done for us, and check out some of the unique and interesting designs that line the facade of some of these hotels.

Very famous and grand buildings such as Marina Bay Sands or The Fullerton Hotel need no introduction. We are all probably familiar with how they look like, especially since they are undoubtedly Singapore icons. However, we’re talking about the underdogs. The ones you’ve probably driven past but barely glanced at, because they’ve simply been shrouded by the tall buildings and skyscrapers that surround them. Today, we’re going to celebrate these unusual but fascinating designs.

Browse through our gallery for a bit of eye candy, and to learn a bit more about the hotel buildings that make up the streets of Singapore.
