The heart-warming Thai hospitality goes hand in hand with Moroccan majesty at a one-of-a-kind getaway in Hua Hin.

Hua Hin has a centuries-old reputation of being a getaway town for the royal family. Today, 5 stars spa resorts fill the beach strip of the Gulf of Thailand. Villa Maroc differs itself by marrying Thai’s balmy weather and the idyllic Pranburi Beach with the luxury of Maghreb. The result is a distinctive space that provides even a further escape to transport honeymooners to a world of indulgence and tranquillity.

Sitting on a 153-metre stretch of unspoiled coastline, Villa Maroc has eleven exclusive villas named after indigenous herbs and spices; Clove, Mint, Ginger, Fennel, Cumin, Coriander, Cinnamon, Turmeric, Aniseed, Thyme and Saffron. The first three belong to two-storey Pool Courts class, and built around an open courtyard, resembling traditional Morrocan mansions known as riads. The following four are two-storey Pool Villas. They boast dazzling, panoramic view from the upper floor, while providing private spa areas.

The white washed Turmeric is a one-bedroom villa with breathtaking, uninterrupted view over the turqouise-colored sea. The high ceiling and the many windows and doors are designed to maximise the caress of sea breeze. The staggering pale pink villa is the two-bedroom Aniseed, with serene private pool, also facing the Pranburi Beach. Thyme, or Villa Za’atar, can also house up to four. It is the biggest one. Its roof terrace is dressed in grandeur to make a perfect set for intimate, small-scale gatherings.

When not enjoying the Arabic remedial treatments – either in Sherazade Hammam and Spa, or inside the villas – residents can swing in the Royal Hua Hin Golf Course that is accessible in less than five minutes from the beach. In the evening, join the happy crowds of Hua Hin Night Market for delicious food and assorted souvenirs. Other attractions include a stroll through The Butterfly and Herb Garden, and witnessing the fantastic 11-tiered Namtok Pa La-U waterfall in Kaeng Krachan National Park, around an hour drive from Hua Hin.

The unique concept of Villa Maroc complements the pristine beach of Thailand with the splendor of Old Morrocan. It is the only place to experience both Oriental and North African exotics.

Villa Maroc is situated in 165/3 Moo 3 Paknampran Pranburi, Khirikhan, Thailand 77220. Tel: +66-32-630-771
