An excellent read can be made perfect with the perfect environment. We pick 7 books to enjoy to their fullest capacity at 7 ideal locations this summer.

They say that novels have the ability to transport you to another land, that they let you enter a world of fact or fiction, but a world that is not exactly your own – it is told from the perspective of another and that is where the magic lies.

Bearing that in mind, it doesn’t usually strike one, especially if you’ve been dying to read a particular book, that the environment you are reading it in plays a big role in enjoying the content. Especially since it is finally summer, you’re going to need the right books for the right summer setting.

Take for example, if you were reading a highly intriguing multiple-plot-weaving murder mystery novel and you happen to be on a beach holiday, where you had hoped you would enjoy some proper R&R and instead, you’re caught up in a dramatic plot and end up forgetting to partake in all the goodness around you.

Now, we’re not saying you can’t enjoy a fantastic read, no matter what the environment, we are merely offering advice on the best way to capitalize on your reading time during the holiday season. If the book is that good, you might as well make it the optimum environment to read it at, eh? For this very reason, we have picked 7 books, or series of books, that can be read, respectively, at 7 different locations and although the list could potentially be non-exhaustive, we felt these books were ideal for the places we picked this summer. Read on bookworms!
