The indestructible Freitag Bag

Famous for their casual chic style and striking colours, Freitag set themselves apart from other brands by sticking to their eco-friendly ethos of making their products from recycled materials.

The two Freitag brothers came up with this amazing idea in 1993 when they launched their first collection of messenger bags inspired by those of bicycle couriers in New York. With the intention of not wanting to damage the planet further, they thought of collecting and using construction materials – such as tubes, seat belts and even the water-resistant material Tarpaulin (used on trucks).

We love their range of travel bags (of which Hilten is our favourite!) for they look stylish and are extremely durable. What’s best is while ordering it on the site, you can pick the color, pattern and even the cutouts of your choice so no two bags are the same.
