Four Seasons officially opens in KL – here’s everything you can expect

A peek at the newly opened Four Seasons Kuala Lumpur.
Needless to say, it’s been a bustling few months for Kuala Lumpur’s luxury hotel scene. Just earlier in June, both the W Kuala Lumpur and Banyan Tree Kuala Lumpur opened in the heart of the city’s Golden Triangle neighbourhood.
The sleekest new gem on its skyline is none other than the Four Seasons Kuala Lumpur, which officially opened its doors this July. Located in Kuala Lumpur’s financial district (in the heart of the Golden Triangle neighbourhood right next to the Petronas Towers), the new 65-storey building houses 209 guest rooms and suites, as well as serviced apartments for long-term guests.
There are 4 restaurants; one of which is Yun House, which dishes out a pork-free Cantonese fine-dining menu by Executive Chef Jimmy Wong; and 2 bars, a lobby bar and a rooftop bar. Bar Trigona is helmed by award-winning Head Bartender Ashish Sharma, who whips up delicious contemporary cocktails.
For a spot of retail therapy, there’s also the Four Seasons Place Kuala Lumpur, the hotel’s very own luxury shopping mall. (Talk about all-inclusive amenities.)
For a spot of R&R, swing by its ultra-luxurious spa, which features eight treatment rooms (including two couples’ suites), boasts of unique offerings inspired by Malaysian healing traditions. Its signature treatments include the Four Seasons Rotan Manau Aroma Massage and Urutan Malaysian Massage.
There’s also a sprawling 145 square metres sky-high fitness center and an infinity pool, perfectly posited to offer you sweeping panoramic views of the city. Guests can lounge on its private cabanas and enjoy tipples from its adjoining bar-grill, and even have the option of scheduling private yoga sessions by the pool.
With its all-inclusive amenities, it certainly looks like the new Four Seasons Kuala Lumpur will be drawing in travellers – business and leisure ones alike.
