Once at the top of the hill you have a beautiful view of the city and the islands. Take the opportunity to visit the ruins of the ancient Roman city of Salona. This impressive site is three times the size of Pompeii.

Ah, Greece! One could go months without getting tired of being stunned by its treasures such as the Parthenon and the Theatre of Dionysus. Very well preserved, one can easily imagine the 17,000 spectators listen to great tragedies... After a summer of excess, the simple and colourful cuisine made from fresh ingredients will be appreciated.

The Eternal City is always a pleasure to visit especially for its picturesque architecture and wealth of history. Enough said, you have it see it for yourself!

Budapest
Sometimes, while walking along the Danube river, this city feels like London... at least in the fact that the Hungarian Parliament has a false air of Westminster. Its Gothic architecture is a true gem.
Be sure to stop at the Szechenyi and Gellert bath, after a tour of the central markets. This covered market is the best place to do shopping and lunch at reasonable prices.

Resort of legendary stars (like Mick Jagger) or today's celebs (Beyoncé, Antonio Banderas), the city retains a more authentic charm at its center especially once most of the tourists have already left in Setempber.

Lisbon
In Lisbon, we love the freshly caught seafood in the morning, but also the city's dynamism. Between tradition and innovation, the Portuguese capital is a pleasure to explore. First head to the Castelo de São Jorge, which has one of the city's most beautiful views. This castle - built by the Visigoths in the 5th century and enlarged by the Moors in the 9th century, changed under the reign of Alfonso Henrique - is an architectural curiosity.
Then head east to LX Factory. This huge place combines fashion, literature, culinary arts, and music... We love its stained glass and brunches.

Cordoba
In this Spanish city, there isn't a beachfront but a historic, UNESCO heritage site. It's worth a visit, right? Start with the Mosque-Cathedral, an ancient Roman temple converted into a church and then a mosque. Coverting it into a cathedral again only adds to the chaotic and interesting history of the building, which is definitely worth the trip. Do not miss the many flower-filled patios.
