Island Hopping
Tunku Abdul Rahman National Park consists of 5 outlying islands, easily accessible by speedboat from the mainland. There are tons of activities suitable for the entire family, such as diving, sea walking, boating and so much more. Or if you wish, simply just have a cooling swim in the sea with your kids for a simple afternoon of fun.

Another exciting water activity to do at the islands of Tunku Abdul Rahman National Park would be to bring the entire family for a trip of snorkelling! Kids generally adore snorkelling, and it doesn't take very long to learn. We recommend going to Manukan Island to snorkel, where there are coral reefs offshore to wonder in awe at.

Mount Kinabalu
Mount Kinabalu is totally doable for kids too, but even for the fittest of families, you have to be physically prepared for this climb. If you're a family of explorers and adventurers, then make a reservation to climb this splendour of a mountain to be rewarded with magnificent views. The number of climbers is limited to 135 people daily, so to avoid any disappointment, be sure to book in advance.
