Considering how Sri Lanka is often touted as the next tourist hotspot in Asia to watch, it’s unsurprising that it’s now the next destination for CÉ LA VI, Singapore’s award-winning dining and lifestyle brand.
This July, CÉ LA VI will be opening its newest restaurant and lounge at the iconic The Kingsbury, one of the finest five-star luxury hotels in Colombo. Located in-between Galle Face Green, the World Trade Centre and the Dutch Hospital Precinct, The Kingsbury is certainly well in the league of its other hotel partners.
This marks Sri Lanka’s first ever globally-recognised lifestyle brand. “With the exciting developments in the city, Colombo has positioned itself to be the next city to look out for among the emerging markets. We are delighted to be one of the first international brands to launch in Colombo,” said Chief Operations Officer of CÉ LA VI, David Sarner.

Here’s what you can expect from CÉ LA VI Colombo: there will be a CÉ LA VI Restaurant, which serves fine Japanese cuisine along with the brand’s signature modern Asian flair, as well as an indoor and outdoor lounge that celebrates Colombo’s cuisine while offering world-class cocktails and entertainment.
Ranked as one of the best clubs in the world, CÉ LA VI has its lifestyle concepts across prominent nightlife capitals of the world, which include Singapore, Hong Kong and St. Tropez. It’s perhaps best known for its iconic rooftop locations boasting of breathtaking 360-degree views (like its Marina Bay Sands’ edition in Singapore), hosting world-class music and entertainment, and innovative mod-Asian cuisine and mixology.
If anything, CÉ LA VI’s decision to open its newest restaurant and lounge concept in Colombo this July is certainly a stamp that it’s primed to be the destination in Asia to watch.
