Suicide Squad: Watch Jared Leto's brutal Joker in new trailer
Unveiled during the San Diego Comic-Con, take a peek at the cast of baddies coming together for the upcoming DC Comic movie, Suicide Squad.
The recently concluded San Diego Comic-Con unleashed a whole lot of surprises that got fans everywhere revved up for the year or two ahead. Now out of all the heart-stopping news that emerged, one that instantly caught our attention was news that Comic-Con goers got a glimpse of the upcoming superhero film, Suicide Squad.
However, judging by how connected everyone is, the footage was quickly leaked online and that only spurred on director, David Ayer to then release the HD version of the trailer for everyone's watching glory. While it's a pity that exclusivity is hardly a concept anymore, we couldn't be more thrilled at watching the entire cast of antiheroes (supposedly) work together to save the world. There's the likes of Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie), Enchantress (Cara Delevingne), Deadshot (Will Smith), Amanda Waller (Viola Davis) and of course Jared Leto as the evil green-haired Joker.
The trailer itself builds the entire plot for the DC Comic - from Waller assembling her group of goons to Harley Quinn giving a haunting rendition of the Bee Gees' I Started a Joke - however what truly took the cake was The Joker wielding an unknown tool and eerily proclaiming, "I'm not going to kill you. I'm just gonna hurt you really, really bad."
So if you need anything to tide you by till next year, August 5, watch the trailer below and get ready for some Leto nightmares.
