Impress your family and friends by whipping up your very own signature festive cocktail for your Christmas party. These fancy and playful drinks are a must-have for any party to add to the festive spirit. Even if you’re not a mixologist, you can easily whip these up in a hot minute. All you need are the ingredients and a shaker. Some you can even just whip up in a pitcher without needing to employ the use of a shaker. Easy peasy.

The Candy Cane Cocktail

Mix together a shot of vodka, peppermint schnapps and cranberry juice in an ice-filled cocktail shaker. Strain the mixture into a martini glass and finish off by garnishing with a candy cane.

Holiday Eggnog

Combine one cup of eggnog and half a cup of rum in a shaker filled with ice. Shake well and strain into a glass that’s been coated at the rim with brown sugar. Grate some nutmeg into the drink and finish off by dropping a cinnamon stick into the glass.

Christmas Mint Cooler

Pour a bottle of Barcadi rum into jug and add in a cup of fresh mint leaves. Muddle the leaves to release the flavour of the leaves into the rum. Keep it chilled in the refrigerator till you’re ready to serve.

Ginger Snap

Mix one cup of ginger beer, half a cup of dark rum and one tablespoon of ginger juice well in a cocktail shaker. Strain into a glass and finish off by garnishing with cinnamon stick.

Classic Champagne Cocktail

Place a sugar cube on a spoon and soak it in a dash of Angostura bitters. Dunk the sugar cube into a flute of champagne and garnish with lemon twists.

Christmas Whisky Sours

Fill the cocktail shaker halfway with Jack Daniel’s. Add in half a cup of lemon juice and two-thirds of sugar syrup. Shake well and strain into glass. Add a maraschino cherry and serve cold.

Christmas Prosecco

Fill a flute glass two-thirds of the way with Prosecco. Pour in a cap of cranberry syrup and served well chilled.

Cinnamon Beer

In a saucepan, combine one cup each of sugar and water along with four star anises and four cinnamon sticks. Simmer until all the sugar has been dissolved. Allow mixture to cool then strain into a jug of beer.

Pomegranate Christmas Champagne

Fill flute glasses one-third of the way with champagne then fill the rest to the top with freshly squeezed pomegranate juice.

Apple Cider Cocktail

Mix half a cup of apple cider along with a quarter cup each of apple brandy, brandy and lemon juice in a cocktail shaker. Add in a tablespoon of maple syrup and shake well then pour into glass. Garnish with two thin apple slices and serve.
