Inspired by feminine themes and fantastical emotions - the Valentino Fall/Winter 2014 collection is one we aren't likely to forget any time soon. Featuring signature Valentino lace, intricate embellishments and animal-inspired details, the latest collection is heavily based on the beauty of traditional Italian culture.
Designers Maria Grazi Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli were inspired by the pleasure of change - channelling each outfit into what we would call, intricate works of art. The silhouette for this collection is sleek, effortless and graceful ... consisting of long and short vertical lines, high-waisted pieces, Kimonos, full skirts, mini dresses and capes. With oversized floral patterns and chic metallic butterflies arranged into a camouflage print... we may go as far to say that this collection is one of Valentino's finest we've seen lately.
As far as the accessories go, think retro. Ankle-strap sandals and heeled boots feature bold colours in fun and edgy geometric shapes. Handbags are available in a range of sizes featuring vibrant patterns and elegant fur.
