You like action but also endearing characters? We recommend you NCIS, and explain why.

Critics do not understand the massive audience size of a series that many of them regard as dull. Police investigations, set against the background of an endearing family portrait where every generation can find its place, from Gibbs, the patriarch of the investigative group, to DiNozzo, the beautiful, rowdy kid – what’s not to love? It is effectively the only series that a teen can watch and worship with his grandfather. She will identify with Abby, the young, gothic pathologist. There are characters like her, to her old mentor Ducky, played by the legendary septuagenarian David McCallum (from The Invisible Man).

The expert’s opinion:
“The series is often less conservative than it might suggest and this shows, including a high tolerance (for religions)”, says Marjolaine Boutet. The dialogue is peppered with humour and references to cinema.”

This is for you if…

You like cocktails of action, suspense, humour, tenderness. And of course, for watching TV with teens, because it is not an easy task to do every night.
