Pretty Potterheads: LA Splash releases Harry Potter-themed lipsticks

Calling all muggles! If you’d like to channel your inner Hermione or Ginny, perhaps these Harry Potter-inspired lipsticks would do the trick.
Rejoice, Muggles! Harry Potter fans can now purchase liquid lipsticks inspired by the characters of the wizadry novels. This dream of ours has been brought alive by the team over at LA Splash. While the company has released an official statement citing that this is not an official collection in collaboration with the makers, they hope that true blue fans of the series will enjoy their tribute to this cult classes. The shades are bound to strike a chord with all fans of the J.K Rowling novel and movie series as they have been named after characters and their adventures over at Hogwarts. Expect shades with names like Hermione, Ginny and Ravens Claw, amongst others.
The collection features 17 shades from the LA Splash Smitten Liptint Mousse range. While we do appreciate the creation of these liquid lipsticks, we are perplexed about the shades and their corresponding shade names. One would expect Sirius Black to offer a stark black colour pay off but it is a dark navy blue instead – go figure.
Nonetheless potterheads will be able to overlook this as the formula definitely takes the cake for us. Not only has the Smitten range of liquid lipsticks garnered great reviews from many worldwide, it also has a waterproof matte formula – perfect for those humid days. As with any matte lip product, be sure to exfoliate your lips and hydrate with lip balm prior to application.
