Eyeliner addicts swear by a mantra – your eyeliner should be strong enough to slay. Rightly so. The power of a good eyeliner style brings along with it what cannot be explained in a few words but we will try nevertheless.

We have spent countless years practicing to get our eyeliner game right. Little did we know that there are stages to pass as an eyeliner addict? The first stage is to get your basic eyeliner shape right without looking like a panda. As beginners, we started off with pencil liners. Yes those very pencil liners we used to borrow from our mum’s makeup pouches. Once we were satisfied that our style did not give off a racoon vibe, we progressed to liquid liner.

Boy were we in for one of the toughest challenges in the world of makeup – but once you’ve accomplished drawing a flick with a liquid liner, anything is possible.
