Contrary to popular belief, dimply skin and cellulite can be reduced. Here are some secrets to removing cellulite for bikini season.

Before you head to the beach in your bikinis, the number one thing to do would be to attain smooth skin. Cellulite, also known as orange peel skin, is ultimately a huge no-no. For the uninitiated, cellulite is the result of an imbalance of collagen and fat cells in your body.

Sleep your cellulite away?

Alas sleeping less will have an impact on your body’s silhouette.

A study published in 2012 by the International Journal of Obesity found that sleep deprivation leads to increased satiety rhythms. A restless night will upset the level of your adiponectin (fat burning hormone), causing you to put on weight. Essentially, less than 6 hours of sleep per night may cause weight gain of 5kg per year.

Sleeping can be a real slimming solution if we respect our sleep cycles, and it’ll aid in reducing the appearance of cellulite, complemented with a special slimming cream.

Reducing cellulite is also possible through self-massage. Give your body some relief by kneading and patting your skin. Gil Amsallem (author of ‘The practice of self-massage’) says, “the massage should last about 7 minutes each day. Try to repeat your actions 10 to 20 times, and the results will show faster.”
