Lipstick
Concentrate some hairspray onto the stain once you've dabbed most of it off (either with a towel or some tape to pick up most of the product). Once dry, dab it off with a clean towel and it should come off immediately. For more delicate clothes, sprinkle baby powder onto the remaining stain and rub it in. Flick the powder off from the underside of the fabric and it may lightly come off.

Foundation
Shaving cream and shampoo have been known to get pesky foundation stains off of clothing. The cleaning anti-bacterial agents in it will break the formulla apart and make it easier to remove in the wash.

Mascara/eyeliner
If you've accidentally swiped your mascara wand onto the top you were intending to wear, don't fret. Gently dab it away with a clean wash cloth and some water, before gently rubbing detergent directly on it and chucking it in the washing machine.

Powder - foundation, blush, eyeshadow
Powders are much easier to remove - use your fingers to flick at the underside of the fabric to dust the product off. But if your top or white jeans have been smudged with a bright eyeshadow, try the flicking method to get most of it off, then throw it into the washing machine with a detergent that's bleach-free.

Nail Polish
We're sure you might have had the displeasure of spilling a bottle of varnish all over your jeans while giving yourself an at-home manicure. If the nail polish is still wet, grab a tissue and lay flat over the surface to absorb as much of the product as possible. Depending on the size of the patch, use a cotton swab or rag to dab nail polish remover on the stain gently. If it's a dried-up stain, harden it further until it's brittle and ready to break by holding up an ice cube to it for a few minutes. You can then try to gently scrape off the broken varnish and proceed with a light dabbing of remover to get rid of any leftovers. Take note that if your clothes are made of man-made materials like acetate or polyester, it may get damaged by aceton-based nail polish removers. If all else fails, send your item to the dry cleaner's - they usually have solvents that can handle such tough stains.
