Contrary to popular belief, those with sensitive skin can also use scrubs. We just have to get hold of the right product and apply it systematically. Here are some tips.

On wet skin, start with the most resistant areas. Exfoliate primarily in the T-zone: between the eyebrows, the nose, and chin. After this is done, make sure you feel no signs of discomfort (itchy, soreness, etc…). Finish with the cheeks as this area is generally more fragile – gently rub the product into your skin using circular motions.

A scrub is made up of of grains and cleansing gels. Choose a product with mild ingredients such as castor oil or glycerin. Opt for something with smaller grains – this will cause less irritation.

The right frequency: If you have dry sensitive skin only exfoliate twice a month, your skin will thank you!

You should never use scrubs alone. Whatever type of skin, it is important to put out the irritation of exfoliation with a regenerating mask. For sensitive skin, choose a moisturiser with hyaluronic acid and glycerin.

Our tip: For more comfort, you can replace your night cream with your day cream and apply it liberally. It will act as an SOS product while you sleep.p
