Our skin goes through its fair share of ups and down. Apart from using the usual moisturizers, essence, serums and creams, it is important to pamper our skin at least once a week with a combination of exfoliants,scrubs and masks. This will help to remove any dead skin cells sitting on the skin and unclog our pores to remove brighter looking skins. This may sound like a very long routine and exfoliating may not be a suitable option for all. Individuals with sensitive skin types may find scrubs too abrasive and this may result in inflammation and more breakouts – certainly what we don’t want.

OUR VERDICT:
I have a combination skin type which leans towards the drier side. I was definitely apprehensive about trying a peel as I thought it would dry my sensitive skin further. I was introduced to this Skin Inc Pure Revival Peel by my fellow colleague who swears by it and uses it twice a week. I took the plunge and decided to try it. I started off by washing my face as per my usual routine. Once done, I pat my face dry. I applied the product to my face and patted the product in ensuring that I did not massage it as instructed. After 10 seconds, you’ll notice the gel turning milky on the skin and that is a clear indication for you to start massaging the product into your skin. I massaged the product gently focusing on areas such as my T-Zone, cheeks and forehead. I end off by rinsing my face with lukewarm water and patting dry. After using it religiously for months now, I am sold. After each use, I notice my face feels smoother and upon closer inspection, I observe that all my black heads are gone and that my pores definitely look small. On the whole, this product lives up to its claims of brightening and revitalizing the skin. I have since increased the usage of this product to twice a week and it works just fine on even sensitive skin. This is definitely a mainstay in my skincare regime now.
