Beauty Review: Clinique Sonic System Purifying Cleansing Brush

I never really was a mathematics whiz, equations and me usually do not add up. However, when it comes to beauty I always believed in the following simple equation: removing makeup + cleansing = beautiful skin. This is a theorem of beauty which is proven to be right. Therefore, as a diligent student, I almost never skip the cleansing step and I always make sure I wash my skin very well; For thorough cleaning is the key step that will prepare the skin to receive care to optimize the action of the skincare regime you apply.

But excessive deep cleaning also comes with some negatives like stripping the skin of its natural moisture. My solution? Cleaning brushes! They operate smoothly and the result is stunning. After testing and adopting the Clarisonic – whose qualities are well established – I tried the new Sonic System Purifying Cleansing brush from Clinique. And again, the result was up to my expectations.

THE SPECIAL CHARACTERISTICS:

The two kinds of bristles on the brush tip: short and ultra-soft white bristles cover two thirds of the surface, and on the upper third,  harder green bristles which are designed for the T-zone of the face.

This brush is suitable for all skin types, it is lightweight and compact. It has a very good battery life and is waterproof.

HOW to USE IT:

It’s really simple.

1) Moisten your face and brush head.

2) Deposit a small amount of Clinique Liquid Facial Soap.

3) Activates the brush and gently massage the cheeks with the white bristles and then tilt the brush and move on to the T-zone (nose, forehead and chin) using the green bristles and creating up and down movements .

The brush stops automatically after 30 seconds.

The ideal is to start using it once a day, in the evening, to accustom the skin before proceeding to using twice a day.

To complete the cleaning, finish by applying Clarifying Lotion and Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion+, tailored to your skin type.

the RESULTS:

From the first use, my skin was smoother and brighter, hence less prone to imperfections. The cleaning process is fast, smooth and very nice. The pores are less clogged with regular use, you can achieve the most beautiful skin. The Clinique Sonic System Purifying Cleansing brush is a definite winner for us!
