Beat the Monday blues with this super-simple yet stylish runway makeup look that can be recreated in 5 minutes or less.
High fashion runway looks are usually very difficult or time-consuming to recreate – so you can imagine our joy when we chanced upon a look that is almost effortless to achieve and in no time at all. Since eyeliner is a great way to jazz up any boring makeup look, it also comes as no surprise that today we’re looking to Marc by Marc Jacobs’ Fall/ Winter 2014 runway makeup as inspiration.
Achieve this look in 5 minutes or less by starting off with a medium to high coverage matte foundation. No blush or bronzer products needed (phew!).
The eyebrows are the star of the show here. So by using the provided spoolie brush, sweep your eyebrow hairs in the direction of your temples. Then, fill in your brows – a little more than you usually would – with a shade that is a little bit darker than your natural hairs.
Using the eyeliner, fill in your upper and lower waterline. If you’re a little squeamish when it comes to applying something to your eyes, simply close your eyes and sweep the pencil back and forth. This will coat both waterlines without the watery-eyed effect. Lastly coat your lashes with your favourite black mascara and voila!
