To create an intense eye look, transform your usual powder eyeshadows into creamy shadows. The smooth texture won’t cling to or enhance the appearance of wrinkles, so this makeup look is prefect for any age.
A sleek, velvety eye look can be created by using a specific brush – number 49 by Nars Cosmetics will do just the trick. Instead of using synthetic fibers – opt for a tool that features natural hair. This will act much better when in contact with water.
Technique:
Wet the brush with regular tap water – do not soak completely. When done, lightly dry the brush with tissue before use. When the wet brush comes in contact with the powder eyeshadows, you will notice that the shadows will now feature a creamy texture.
Smokey eye manual
For this look, you won’t need a base colour. Instead, the creamy texture will ensure your eyeshadow lasts all day. To achieve a smokey eye, take a dark shade and place it on the centre of your eyelid. Using another clean brush with natural bristles, blend the edges across your eyelid.
For a fun look, choose two eyeshadows that complement each other. For example, a black base with an intense gold colour in the centre of the eye.
