“It got us just like a chocolate craving,” said Maya (top left) of the booster bun and fittingly so, because the booster bun is in the form of a sweet treat we call the hair donut. The idea: regardless of the length or type of our hair, we can all have a perfect ballerina’s bun by following these simple steps:
- Make a ponytail, as high or low as you want.
- Put the ponytail through the hair donut.
- Conceal the donut with your hair. There are two ways of holding it in place, you either pin it like a real bun or wrap the hair bun with another elastic band, just like I do.
